IPRA presents Frank Magnotta

(short bio via HUH MagazineFrank Magnotta‘s drawings are absolutely mind-blowing. It’s rare these days to find an artist who has evidently put so much time, detail and thought into their work and still produced something that feels so new, original and contemporary. His graphite portraits reference Renaissance painters like Bruegel, but when they come out of Frank’s mind, end up looking like deformed versions of characters from the French film The Triplets of Belleville. Whether you like his drawings or not, you can’t deny his level of skill and imagination.
